ABOUT THE SITE

Now, allow me to tell you a little about my site. This website was originally launched in February 10, 2025 as "katiebonbon.neocities.org", if I'm not wrong. Around April or so my website was later renamed to "clockwork-fairy.neocities.org", and my old layout used to be very inspired by Pomelo's website (which is now gone, if you know, you know.), my first couple layouts were pretty bare-bones or VERY horribly coded as I was still very new to the likes of HTML and CSS.

Eventually, as I learned more about HTML, I started to get more of a decent grasp on coding. My layouts slowly became better and better and my code started to look less like an indescribable pile of shitty code. Around this time I also started to study old websites and layouts to make my website a lot more accurate to that whole "early 2000s" era that I love to emulate so much, which means HTML4 AND CSS2 GALORE!!!!!!! I also tried to learn JavaScript, but... man, it is REALLY hard. Though I'm willing to try to learn a little bit of it in the case I want to have a slightly dynamic page, although I doubt I'd really use it much, and I'm a dumbass when it comes to math (which JavaScript has PLENTY of).

Eventually, I hope to get my own domain (maybe even multiple domains!), have dynamic hosting and learn PHP so I can have all sorts of cool things on my website, however for now I am happy with the hosting Neocities provides me.
